Absolutely lovely night out. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The coat check was extremely convenient as well. The upstairs level was a perfect break from the energy of the bottom floor without missing out and also provided another bar option. Overall, well planned out and plenty of space to explore and get comfortable but also wild out and have a good time.
I visited the 9:30 Club on July 1st when I saw of Montreal perform with Telenovella as their opener. The line to get into the venue moved incredibly fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. The venue was clean inside and the bathrooms were easy to locate. Water was available for everyone inside, and the merch area was efficient. I was able to get a barricade spot, but the view and sound would have been amazing everywhere. The smaller size led to a more intimate performance and made the performance feel more personal. Both of Montreal and Telenovella had insane performances and cemented themselves as must-see acts. This has been my favorite venue to go to for a concert and I will definitely visit again.
I love this venue! There is easy access to get a drink if you need one...Great view from the balcony if you get up there early. The staff is amazing. We went on a hot day, and they were handing water out to everyone in the crowd. Get in line early for merch, however. Parking directly across the street...not too bad for price $25. I will definitely return again and again!
